It’s easy to be smart and talented yet feel horrible about their money.

But the results you see are perfect for the system you’ve created.

All it takes is a slight shift in focus to change the results.

The high performers with secrets

High performers are great at what they do. They have developed an expertise based on a deep well of experience. Their skill level is so high that their intuition seems innate.

And then I hear about what’s going on with the personal finances.

Each month is an epic battle with math. I hear stress, anxiety, and frustration in their voices. Based on what they say alone, I would never guess they make six figures.

Where they shine

So we shift over to where they show up powerfully.

I ask them to elaborate in detail about how they do their job so well. They have mastered what most people would see as overwhelmingly complex. For them, it’s easy to connect the dots.

Where they struggle

Then I point out the contrast with their finances.

You see, all of the ingredients of their success in their job is missing with their money. There is no system or plan. Whatever habits are there only make things worse. Their system of chaos has created frustration.

Here’s the key: it’s the same person.

They are not smart and dumb, disciplined and lazy, diligent and sloppy. The have the same strengths and weaknesses both at work and home. They just have different systems in different areas.

If you can see how you are creating the results you are getting, then you can change them.
